Non-bailable charges filed vs. former sexy actress Sabrina M over drugs

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Tuesday filed non-bailable charges against former sexy actress and suspected drug pusher Sabrina M and her two companions for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

No bail po 'yun, puro walang bail yung mga kasong na-file natin laban sa kanya," Quezon City Police District Director Senior Superintendent Guillermo Eleazar said in an interview on GMA News TV's "Balitanghali" program.

Eleazar clarified he has no knowledge on whether Sabrina M, Karen Pallasigue in real life, is included on President Rodrigo Duterte's list of at least 50 celebrities involved in illegal drugs.

However, Eleazar confirmed that Sabrina M is on the QCPD list of suspected drug personalities.

Sabrina M was presented to the QCPD headquarters on Monday after being nabbed in a buy-bust operation in the Tandang Sora area.

Sabrina M was shown in a police surveillance video obtained by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus, using shabu.

Eleazar said Sabrina M mentioned to him the names of several celebrities who were her patrons. These are being validated now before police operation are conducted.

Meanwhile, the QCPD chief urged celebrities involved in illegal drugs to surrender voluntarily to authorities.

Eleazar said the QCPD is having discussions with representatives of the showbiz industry on how they can help in the campaign against illegal drugs.

"More than the Oplan Tokhang, ang gusto namin maging productive dito, makipagtulungan at kung ano ang pwede nilang gawin para makita ng ating sambayanan na hindi lang ito para sa mga kababayan nating less fortunate," he said. — Joseph Tristan Roxas/VVP, GMA News
