Choco Mucho escapes PLDT, advances to PVL All-Filipino semis

Choco Mucho escaped PLDT in a thrilling 25-15, 12-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-13 victory in Game 2 of the PVL All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals on Thursday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

With the victory, the Flying Titans are advancing to the semifinals.

Sisi Rondina put the cherry on top with 21 points from 18 attacks, two aces, and a block, on top of 18 excellent receptions to lead Choco Mucho.

Honey Royse Tubino, meanwhile, had 15 points and 13 excellent digs in the five-set affair.

The win spoiled Savi Davison's 34-point explosion anchored on 33 attacks for the High Speed Hitters. 

In Game 1, Choco Mucho bested PLDT, 20-25, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 18-16.
