Choco Mucho's Kat Tolentino diagnosed with ruptured appendix
Kat Tolentino is expected to miss some time for Choco Mucho in the team's ongoing campaign in the PVL ALl-Filipino Conference after undergoing a surgery on Tuesday.
In a statement, Choco Mucho revealed Tolentino was hospitalized on Monday and was eventually diagnosed with a ruptured appendix. The veteran opposite hitter then proceeded to a surgery and is now recovering.
The incident happened just days after the Flying Titans staged a reverse sweep against ZUS Coffee last Saturday behind Sisi Rondina and Deanna Wong.
This won't be the first time that the former Ateneo standout will miss games due to health issues as she also took a break from the league last year due to an auditory condition.
"Get well soon, Kat! The entire Titan fam is here for you and will always have your back," Choco Mucho said.
Choco Mucho returns to action on Thursday against PLDT.
