Risa Sato joins Chery Tiggo ahead of PVL resumption
Risa Sato has found a new home, joining a loaded Chery Tiggo frontcourt just in time for the resumption of the 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference this Saturday at the PhilSports Arena.
The Crossovers announced the arrival of the 30-year-old middle blocker on Wednesday as she joins Aby Maraño, Cza Carandang, and Seth Rodriguez in leading the net defense for the squad.
"To our newest addition to our growing family, Welcome," Chery Tiggo said in a post.
"Your skills and energy are a game-changer and we can’t wait to have you on the court with us"
Sato left her longtime home Creamline last November, marking an end to a colorful six-year stint with the multi-titled team where she suited up from 2018 to 2024.
With the Cool Smashers, Sato was able to win 10 titles, including their historic grand slam run last year.
