Creamline outlasts Zus Coffee in five-setter

Creamline outlasted Zus Coffee, 25-22, 28-30, 26-24, 17-25, 15-13, in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Philsports Arena.

Alyssa Valdez had 17 points anchored on 16 attacks, while Bernadeth Pons added 17 of her own to extend the Cool Smashers' winning streak to four and remain unbeaten in the conference.

Jema Galanza added 15 points, while Michele Gumabao added 14 points in the Creamline win.

The win spoiled Kate Santiago's 19-point outing for the Thunderbelles as Thea Gagate added 15 points. Zus Coffee slipped to 2-3 in the standings.

Both teams will see action next year when Zus takes on Choco Mucho on January 18 and Creamline faces Capital1 on January 21. The PVL will take a break after the games on December 14.
