Petro Gazz sweeps Akari; Farm Fresh beats Zus for second straight win

Petro Gazz swept Akari, 28-26, 29-27, 25-18, for its second straight win in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Brooke Van Sickle scored 19 points anchored on 15 attacks and three blocks, while Myla Pablo added 15 points as the Angels improved to 3-1. Ivy Lacsina had 21 points, while Grethcel Soltones and Eli Soyud had 11 and 10 points, respectively as the Chargers slipped to 2-3.

Farm Fresh, meanwhile, snapped Zus Coffee's back-to-back wins, 26-24, 13-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Trisha Tubu had 27 attacks for 28 points, while Alyssa Bertolano had 12 points as the Foxies improved to 2-2.

Thea Gagate had 16 points, while Chinnie Arroyo and Jovelyn Gonzaga had 10 points apiece for the Thunderbelles who slipped to a similar 2-2.
