Creamline sweeps Akari in Tots Carlos' return

After being sidelined from a knee injury, Tots Carlos returned to action in the PVL All-Filipino Conference as Creamline swept Akari, 26-24, 25-17, 25-16, on Saturday at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.

Carlos had four points in her comeback as Jema Galanza top scored the Cool Smashers with 13 points anchored on 12 attacks. Bea de Leon had 12 points, while Bernadeth Pons had 10 points as Creamline improved to 2-0.

Erika Raagas had 11 points for the Chargers as they absorbed their first loss in the conference.

Meanwhile, Petro Gazz swept Farm Fresh, 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

Brooke Van Sickle had 20 points to lead the Angels as they bounced back from a loss against the Cool Smashers last November 16.

Trisha Tubu, on the other hand, had 14 points for the Foxies which remained winless in two games.
