Jovelyn Gonzaga signs with ZUS Coffee in her PVL return

Jovelyn Gonzaga is making her highly-anticipated return to the professional ranks as the veteran opposite hitter signed with ZUS Coffee ahead of the new PVL season.

The Thunderbelles made the huge announcement on Tuesday as Gonzaga is tipped to lead a youthful squad.

The 32-year-old lefty wing spiker last saw action in 2023, when she bolstered Cignall in the PVL Second All-Filipino Conference as they finished at the third spot alongside other vets Ria Meneses, Gel Cayuna, and Ces Molina.

She is now expected to provide her wealth of experience to a form-finding ZUS Coffee, which finished dead-last in the previous Reinforced Conference with a dismal 0-8 card.

Gonzaga will join hands with prized middle blocker Thea Gagate as well as other young guns in setter Cloanne Mondoñedo, Gayle Pascual, and Mich Gamit.
