Kurashiki Ablaze sweeps Est Cola for PVL Invitationals bronze

Japan-based club Kurashiki Ablaze swept Thailand's Est Cola, 25-22, 26-24, 25-20, on Thursday to cop the bronze medal in the PVL Invitational Conference on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Kurashiki reached the battle for bronze as it finished with two wins against Est Cola and Farm Fresh in the preliminary round and two losses against Filipino clubs Creamline and Cignal. Est Cola, meanwhile, only had one win which was against the Farm Fresh Foxies.

Low Mei Cing had 14 points from eight attacks and six blocks, while Saki Tanabe had 13 points for Kurashiki.

Warisara Seetaloed had 14 points, while Natthawan Phattaisong had 11 points for Est Cola.

Creamline and Cignal will battle for the Invitational crown tonight.
