PNVF's Ramon Suzara elected as AVC president
Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ramon "Tats" Suzara was elected as the new president of the Asian Volleyball Confederation.
The AVC and PNVF announced the development on Friday.
Suzara got 48 votes against Qatar's Ali Ghanem M A Al-Kuwari who had 15 votes for the post. He will serve for four years.

With his election, Suzara became the ninth AVC president and second from the Philippines after Nemesio Yabut Sr. from 1976 to 1979.
Suzara's election also came months after the Philippines was selected as the host of the 2025 FIVB Men's World Championship.
