PVL reschedules Reinforced Conference semis

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) rescheduled the semifinals of its Reinforced Conference to Saturday.

The league, citing issues related to Philsports Arena's electricity supply due to the recent rains as reason, announced the development on Thursday.

"The continuous downpour over the past few days has caused damage to several Meralco posts supplying power to the Philsports Arena, rendering them inoperable," the league said in a statement.

The semis will see Akari go against PLDT, and Cignal facing Creamline.

PVL will play the semis on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena and will move the finals on Monday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

The league said it will also refund the tickets already purchased for the semifinals.
