Alas Pilipinas falls to Thailand in SEA V.League second leg


Alas Pilipinas fell to host country Thailand in its campaign opener in the second leg of SEA V.League, 25-18, 25-23, 25-16, on Friday in Nakhon Ratchasima.

No Alas player scored in double digits as Faith Nisperos and Eya Laure posted six points apiece. 

Chatchu-on Moksri led the Thais with 19 points while Pimpichaya Kokram had 12 points.

The loss came just days after the national women's volleyball team capped Leg 1 with a bronze medal as it defeated Indonesia.

Alas will play Vietnam next on Saturday.
