Thea Gagate is officially top overall pick by ZUS Coffee in PVL Rookie Draft

It's official: Thea Gagate is the top overall pick of the inaugural Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Rookie Draft.

Gagate, member of the national team Alas Pilipinas, was picked first by the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.

With De La Salle University, Gagate won the UAAP title with the Lady Spikers in Season 85. She was also named as the 1st Middle Blocker in Seasons 84-86.

A total of 47 aspirants composed the inaugural pool of the Rookie Draft.
