PVL: Farm Fresh taps Shota Sato as new head coach

Shota Sato has been tapped by PVL team Farm Fresh as its new head coach starting in the upcoming Reinforced Conference.

The team made the announcement on Saturday.

Sato has been part of the Farm Fresh coaching staff as one of the assistants of former head coach Jerry Yee who will now handle ZUS Coffee.

The Japanese coach was also one of the deputies of Kurashiki Ablaze which won the 2023 Invitational Conference title.

Meanwhile, the Foxies also announced on Friday its reinforcement Yeny Murillo.

Murillo is a 6-foot-1 outside hitter from Andalucia, Colombia, and had stints with clubs in Czechia, Cyprus, France, and Greece.

Farm Fresh hopes to improve its standings after finishing ninth overall with three wins and eight losses in the All-Filipino conference.
