Asaka Tamaru joins ZUS Coffee, Capital1 taps Marina Tushova

Asaka Tamaru and Marina Tushova will play in the Philippines as reinforcements for their respective teams in the Premier Volleyball League.

Tamaru will join ZUS Coffee under head coach Jerry Yee, who she worked with as part of Farm Fresh's coaching staff.

She was also part of the Kurashiki Ablaze team which ruled the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference where she was named as the First Best Open Spiker.

Capital1, meanwhile, hopes to have a better performance this conference with Russian open hitter Tushova.

The Solar Spikers also recently signed Iris Tolenada to their squad. 

Other reinforcements already named were Khat Bell (Chery Tiggo), Lena Samoilenko (PLDT), Erica Staunton (Creamline), Zoi Faki (Choco Mucho), and MJ Perez (Cignal).
