Choco Mucho taps Greek reinforcement Zoi Faki
Choco Mucho has welcomed Greek import Zoi Faki for the Flying Titans' redemption campaign in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference next month.
The 25-year-old 6-foot-1 foreign reinforcement is tipped to bolster the Dante Alinsunurin-coached club as they look to bounce back from a seventh place finish in the previous import-laced tournament in 2022.
The youthful Faki boasts a wealthy experience, suiting up for SFA Foivos Melission, AEK Athens, and GS Panionios. She then flew to the United States to study at University of Pittsburgh, but she ended her collegiate career with San Diego State University.
She went on continuing her professional stint in Greece, boosting AO Thiras and Apollon Kalamatas.
Faki's presence will help fill the void left by the impending absence of Choco Mucho's ace spiker Sisi Rondina and one of their top middle blockers in Cherry Nunag as both players remain uncertain due to their commitment with the Alas Pilipinas.
Faki became the latest import to be signed in the PVL after Capital1 tapped Marina Tushova while PLDT, Chery Tiggo, and Creamline have already bared their reinforcements with Elena Samoilenko, Khat Bell, and Erica Staunton, respectively.
