ZUS Coffee to pick first in inaugural PVL Draft

ZUS Coffee, formerly known as the Strong Group Athletics, will have the right to make the historic first pick in Premier Volleyball League's upcoming inaugural draft.

The draft lottery was held on Monday.

ZUS Coffee will be handled by Jerry Yee where he is expected to bring his top players from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde such as NCAA Season 99 Most Valuable Player Cloanne Mondonedo, Gayle Pascual, Jade Gentapa, and Mich Gamit.

Capital1, meanwhile, will go second in the pick, followed by Galeries Tower, and Farm Fresh.

Nxled, Akari, Cignal, PLDT, Chery Tiggo, Petro Gazz, Choco Mucho, and Creamline will follow suit in the draft order.

A total of 47 aspirants will be part of the inaugural Rookie Draft on July 6, bannered by Alas Pilipinas players Thea Gagate and Julia Coronel.

Prior to this, a Draft Combine will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
