NCAA MVP Louie Ramirez signs with powerhouse Cignal in Spikers' Turf

After capping off a legendary collegiate career, Louie Ramirez didn't take long to find a new home as he joined a stacked team with Cignal ahead of its campaign in the 2024 Spikers' Turf.

The HD Spikers announced Ramirez' signing on Monday as the former Perpetual ALTAs star moved on to the next level.

Ramirez is coming off a colorful career with Perpetual in the NCAA, steering the Las Piñas crew to four consecutive titles in the men's volleyball division while also capturing back-to-back MVP plums in the process.

The 24-year-old outside spiker also made a name in the beach volleyball scene after leading the school to back-to-back crowns in Season 98 and 99.

Recently, Ramirez was hailed as the Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Men's Volleyball Player of the Year.

At Cignal, Ramirez will join fellow rookie and prized setter in Owa Retamar as well as JP Bugaoan, Joshua Umandal, Bryan Bagunas, Lloyd Josafat as they look to duplicate their success in the previous 2024 Open Conference.
