Alas Pilipinas U18 claims bronze in Thailand tourney

The Alas Pilipinas Women's Under-18 team swept Australia, 25-13, 25-21, 25-20, on Thursday to claim bronze in the 22nd Princess Cup in Thailand.

Prior to the bronze medal win, the Philippines had wins against Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, and losses to Thailand and Indonesia in the elimination round.

This is the U18 team's first tournament in Thailand this month as they will also compete in the 5th Asian Women’s U18 Volleyball Championship.
