PVL: Khat Bell comes back to reinforce Chery Tiggo

Khat Bell is set for a Philippine homecoming as she is tipped to reinforce Chery Tiggo in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference next month.

The 31-year-old Bell will return to the country four years after seeing action in the defunct Philippine Superliga (PSL), where the American ace bolstered Petron from 2018 to 2020. With the franchise, Bell captured two titles in the 2018 and 2019 editions of the Grand Prix.

Since then, the high-flying outside hitter has suited up for various international clubs in South Korea, Turkey, and Las Vegas.

As she joins the Crossovers, Bell will boost a stacked squad that already features the likes of Eya and EJ Laure, Mylene Paat, Shaya Adorador, Aby Maraño, and Jen Nierva among others.

Chery Tiggo is coming off a fourth place finish in the recent All-Filipino Conference, where the squad showed a lot of promise to finish at third spot at 9-2 after the elimination round.

They, however, came up winless in the round robin semifinals.
