Casiey Dongallo to miss AVC Challenge Cup due to injury

University of the East standout Casiey Dongallo will miss the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup for Women due to injury.

In a post by her high school team California Precision Sports, Dongallo was seen with a bandage on her arm.

"Now, she will have to be off to recover," the caption of the post wrote.

Dongallo is among the collegiate standouts called up for national volleyball team Alas Pilipinas, including the likes of De La Salle University's Angel Canino, Julia Coronel, and Thea Gagate. 

The team has started training for the tournament last Thursday.

The AVC Challenge Cup for Women is scheduled from May 22-29 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, while the nationals will commence their campaign on May 23.
