UST will face National University in a rematch of last season's finals.
Josh Ybañez had 19 points, while Gboy de Vega, who was handed a red card in the second set due to an "intentional fake serve," had 18 points as the Golden Spikers completed a sweep despite a twice-to-win disadvantage.
Dryx Saavedra, meanwhile, had 20 points for the Tamaraws.
With the win, the Golden Spikers also join the Golden Tigresses in the finals stage of their respective divisions as both teams aim for the gold in UAAP volleyball this season.
