Choco Mucho sweeps Chery Tiggo to inch closer to PVL Finals

Choco Mucho swept Chery Tiggo, 25-20, 25-19, 25-23, in the PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals on Thursday at the Philsports Arena to inch closer to the league finals.

Sisi Rondina and Royse Tubino connived to lead the Flying Titans to their second win in the single round robin semifinals as the former had 18 points, while the latter had 17 points.

Previously, the Flying Titans won for the first time against Creamline in a five-setter.

Meanwhile, Cza Carandang was the only Chery Tiggo player to score in double digits with 10 points as the Crossovers remained winless in two games. Sisters Eya and EJ Laure had nine points each.

Earlier, Creamline defeated Petro Gazz in four sets.

Choco Mucho will go against Petro Gazz on Sunday, while Chery Tiggo will face the Cool Smashers.
