La Salle sweeps FEU; Dongallo propels UE past Adamson

De La Salle University swept Far Eastern University, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18, in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Reigning Most Valuable Player Angel Canino posted 15 points, while Thea Gagate added 10 points as the Lady Spikers improved to 7-1. 

Faida Bakanke and Gerzel Petallo chipped in 13 points apiece to pace the Lady Tamaraws which slipped to 4-4.

Casiey Dongallo, meanwhile, led the University of the East in taking down Adamson University, 26-24, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Dongallo posted 28 points from 25 attacks, two blocks, and an ace as the Red Warriors notched their second win in eight games.

Rochelle Laloingisip had 17 points as the Lady Falcons went down to 2-6.
