Capital1 reveals initial lineup for PVL debut

The Capital1 Solar Spikers revealed on Thursday the initial names included in its roster for the upcoming season of the Premier Volleyball League.

Heather Guino-o and Jannine Navarro will banner the new team, along with Arianne Layug, Jorelle Singh, and Ja Lana.

The team will also have Rovee Instrella, Kia Melgar, Sydney Niegos, Lourdes Clemente, Shyra Umandal, Cathrina Dizon, Kath Villegas, May Macatuno, Jel Quizon, Rica Rivera, and Bingle Landicho.

Capital1 head coach Roger Gorayeb said the players are hungry for playing time and he previously said they will bank on the experience they all have as they make their debut.

Team owner Mandy Romero said she and her sister Milka will give their all-out support to the team.

“This will be a good opportunity for them to shine and be recognized so we are giving our all-out support to the team,” Mandy said. 

Milka, meanwhile, said they are not in a rush and will take it one step at a time in the league.

“We are not in a hurry, we take it one step at time until we build a winning culture. That’s our goal," said Milka.

The PVL is expected to open its newest season this February.
