Ivy Lacsina joins Nxled following F2 Logistics' PVL exit
The busy offseason has started for Nxled as the Chameleons secured the commitment of prized volleyball star Ivy Lacsina ahead of the 2024 season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) in February.
The team announced the huge development on Friday night as the Chameleons eye stronger outing next year. With the move, Lacsina became the second player from F2 Logistics to find a new home after veteran libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig, which came following the Cargo Movers' disbandment.
"When we said that we are going to get stronger next season, this is what we meant. Now, let's get started," the team said in a Facebook post.
Lacsina displayed her versatility in the previous season, which saw the former National University standout transition from middle blocker to wing spiker under the guidance of F2 coach Regine Diego.
In the season-ending 2nd PVL All-Filipino Conference, Lacsina put together 142 points anchored on 115 attacks, 22 blocks, and five service aces to lead the offense for the Cargo Movers.
She will join an Nxled squad that finished ninth in the 2nd All-Filipino Conference with a 4-7 win-loss card.
