PVL: Farm Fresh taps Japanese coach Hideo Suzuki as consultant
A familiar face will serve as team consultant for Farm Fresh as the Foxies have signed Japanese coach Hideo Suzuki to join the team in preparation for the next season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Suzuki was the architect behind Kurashiki Ablaze's championship run during the 2023 Invitational Conference, where they defeated powerhouse Creamline in the finals last July to complete an undefeated campaign.
Suzuki is tipped to bring in the experience and expertise to Farm Fresh as he will work closely with head coach Jerry Yee as well as the core led by setter Louie Romero, opposite hitter Trisha Tubu, and middle blocker Pia Ildefonso.
"We are thrilled to have Coach Hideo Suzuki join Farm Fresh as Team Consultant. His proven track record and coaching are assets that will undoubtedly elevate the team's performance. We look forward to a season of growth and success under his guidance," said Farm Fresh team manager Kiara Cruz in a statement.
Suzuki will join a Farm Fresh squad that finished 10th during the recent 2nd All-Filipino Conference with a 2-9 record.
