PVL: Creamline outlasts Choco Mucho, completes sweep en route to All-Filipino title

The Creamline Cool Smashers outlasted the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in a five-set thriller, 22-25, 25-20, 29-27, 24-26, 15-12, to claim the crown in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Creamline also completed a sweep as it won all 15 games en route to the title.

In front of a crowd of 24,459, the Cool Smashers overcame the Flying Titans which had the lead early in the fifth set before the likes of Michele Gumabao and Alyssa Valdez towed Creamline to the victory.

Tots Carlos, who was named Finals MVP, had 26 points for Creamline, while Jema Galanza added 21 points. 

Sisi Rondina posted 33 points for Choco Mucho, but Creamline's championship composure prevailed.

This is Creamline's seventh overall crown in the PVL and the second this season as they won also in the first All-Filipino Conference.
