Decorated club F2 Logistics on Wednesday saying it will stop its operations in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) after eight years of seeing action in professional and amateur scenes.

The Cargo Movers said a number of injuries sustained by the players over the past months have forced them to ‘take slower steps’.

“As we shift our focus to the grassroots and put to a halt F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, we thank our ever-loyal supporters that have been with the team through the victories and losses,” F2 said in a statement.

“The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers volleyball team has been more than just a sports team; it has been a source of inspiration and pride for us.”

F2 is one of the most successful volleyball clubs in the country, winning a total of six championships while also copping four silver and three bronze.

Despite its decision to step back, F2 said it will keep its commitment to support the growth of the Philippine volleyball. It added that it will remain its backing of De La Salle University while expanding its help to University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.

“The bond we have forged in the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers is one that has stood the test if time and we will continue to be a family long after that team is gone.”
