Cignal completes reverse sweep vs. Choco Mucho in PVL semis

The Cignal HD Spikers overcame the Choco Mucho Flying Titans and completed a reverse sweep, 18-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-10, to take Game 1 of the best-of-three semifinals in the PVL 2023 2nd All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Philsports Arena.

Ces Molina had 23 points, while Vanie Gandler and Jovelyn Gonzaga had 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Sisi Rondina had 19 points, while Kat Tolentino added 16 points as the Flying Titans' 10-game winning streak was snapped.

Earlier, Creamline swept Chery Tiggo to draw first blood in the semis.

Game 2 of the series will be played on Saturday at 4 pm at the same venue.
