Petro Gazz sweeps F2 to remain unbeaten

The Petro Gazz Angels took down the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in straight sets, 25-22, 27-25, 25-14, to remain undefeated in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference on Thursday in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Ranya Musa and Jonah Sabete chipped in 11 points apiece as the Angels improved to 4-0 and share the lead in the standings with the Creamline Cool Smashers. F2, meanwhile, dropped to 2-2.

Earlier, the Choco Mucho Flying Titans swept the Galeries Tower High Risers, 25-21, 25-16, 25-20. Sisi Rondina paced Choco Mucho with 16 points, while Caitlin Viray and Bea De Leon added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

With the win, Choco Mucho improved to 3-1, while Galeries is still winless in four games.

On the other hand, the PLDT High Speed Hitters defeated the Nxled Chameleons, 22-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.

Savannah Davison had 21 points, while Erika Santos had 13 points as PLDT moved up to 3-1. Nxled, meanwhile, slipped to 1-3.

PVL action will return on Saturday at the Philsports Arena when Farm Fresh takes on Cignal at 2 p.m., while PLDT will go against Gerflor afterwards. Petro Gazz will try to remain undefeated when they face the Chery Tiggo Crossovers at 6 p.m.
