Reigning champion Creamline kept its immaculate record intact after overcoming a second set hitch en route to a 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 25-22 victory against Farm Fresh in the second 2023 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

The Cool Smashers, who are eyeing their third straight All-Filipino crown, improved to a clean 4-0 win-loss card while Farm Fresh remained winless at 0-5.

Even as team captain Alyssa Valdez continues to see limited minutes, there has been no shortage of firepower for multi-titled Creamline with Michele Gumabao, Jema Galanza, and Tots Carlos leading the way for them.

Gumabao continued to star as the seasoned opposite hitter put together 20 points built on 18 attacks and two blocks while Galanza and Carlos churned out 18 and 14 markers apiece.

Former Adamson standout Trisha Tubu paced the youth-laden Farm Fresh with 19 points while Kate Santiago and Pia Ildefonso chipped in 15 and 12 markers, respectively, in the losing effort.

Meanwhile, Cignal snapped its two-game losing slide after halting the streaking Akari with a 25-18, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20 victory.

The HD Spikers bounced back from their back-to-back losses to Choco Mucho and Creamline after opening the season with a four-set triumph against PLDT.

They have now improved to 2-2 while Akari dropped to 3-2 after seeing their two-game winning streak come to an end.

In the first game, Chery Tiggo flaunted its depth as it made easy work of Gerflor by carving out a 25-8, 25-12, 25-20 victory.

Almost all players scored for the Crossovers with Eya Laure showing the way for the club with her 12 points while Princess Robles chimed in with nine markers as they hiked their standing to 3-1.

Gerflor, on the other hand, slipped to 0-4.
