La Salle's Justine Jazareno joins Akari Chargers

De La Salle University's Justine Jazareno will join the Akari Power Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League.

The team confirmed the development on Thursday.

According to a report by student publication The LaSallian, Jazareno forewent her remaining two playing years for the Lady Spikers.

"Gusto ko pong mag-grow outside my comfort zone and additionally, kailangan na po ng tulong ng family ko financially," Jazareno said, according to a report on the Akari website.

(I want to grow outside my comfort zone and help my family financially.)

Jazareno was the libero of the Taft-based squad which won the women's volleyball title in UAAP Season 85.

The next conference of the PVL is scheduled for an October opening.
