Cignal dispatches F2 to claim PVL Invitational bronze

The Cignal HD Spikers dispatched the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, to claim the bronze medal in the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference battle for third on Sunday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Ces Molina led the HD Spikers with 19 points anchored on 17 attacks while Jovelyn Gonzaga had 18 points off 12 attacks, four blocks, and two aces, on top of 17 digs.

The win spoiled Ivy Lacsina's 16-point output for the Cargo Movers.

Cignal and F2 faced each other in the semifinals after both teams finished the semis round with identical 2-3 records.

The Creamline Cool Smashers and guest Japanese team Kurashiki Ablaze will battle for the title.
