Fifi Sharma to join Akari Chargers in PVL

De La Salle University women's volleyball standout Fifi Sharma is set to join the Akari Chargers in the Premiere Volleyball League.

The Chargers welcomed Sharma on Saturday as she showed support during Akari's match against the PLDT High Speed Hitters at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Akari head coach Jorge Souza de Brito also confirmed the said development, according to an update in the PVL website.

Sharma will not be able to join the Chargers in the ongoing Invitational Conference, but De Brito himself said he is excited for Sharma to join them eventually.

Sharma was part of the Lady Spikers team which won the championship in UAAP Season 85.

Akari earlier fell to PLDT in straight sets, 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.
