Jaja Santiago signs with JT Marvelous in Japan V.League

Jaja Santiago is staying put in Japan as the towering Filipina spiker signed with JT Marvelous in the prestigious V. League, the team announced on Wednesday.

This has now became Santiago’s second Japanese club as she previously reinforced the Saitama Ageo Medics, where she suited up from 2018 to 2023.

The 6-foot-4 Santiago will join a JT Marvelous team that won the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons behind notable American spiker Andrea Drews.

JT finished fifth in the previous season.

Santiago is also part of the Chery Tiggo team in the ongoing 2023 PVL Invitational Conference.
