Former Ateneo standout Vanie Gandler joins Cignal HD

Weeks after playing her last match in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, former Ateneo de Manila University standout Vanie Gandler is set to turn pro as she joins the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League.

The team made the announcement on Thursday.

In Gandler's final playing year with the Katipunan-based squad, Ateneo missed the UAAP women's volleyball Final Four for the first time since Season 71.

Her teammate, Faith Nisperos, also turned pro recently as she committed with the Akari Chargers.
