Filipino spikers survive Malaysia for first win in Cambodia SEAG

The Philippine national men's volleyball team survived Malaysia in a five-setter, 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 24-26, 17-15, to notch its first win in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games on Sunday in Cambodia.

The win gave the Philippines another chance to win as it will still play in the battle for fifth place against Singapore.

Prior to this, the Philippines was swept in the group phase after losing to Indonesia, Cambodia, and Singapore.

The fifth place game will be played on Monday.
