UST sweeps FEU, sets up duel with NU in men's volleyball finals

After more than a decade, University of Santo Tomas is back in the UAAP men's volleyball finals stage.

The Golden Spikers swept Far Eastern University, 25-18, 25-22, 25-21, on Sunday in the Season 85 stepladder Final Four at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Rey de Vega tallied 16 points while Josh Ybañez and John Dedoroy added 15 and 11 points each for the España-based squad's win.

Mark Calado had 12 points in the Tamaraws' loss.

UST had its last finals appearance in 2012.

The Golden Spikers will face National University in the finals with Game 1 slated on Wednesday.
