FEU ousts La Salle, advances to face UST in next round of UAAP stepladder

Far Eastern University ousted De La Salle University, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-22, in the UAAP Season 85 men's volleyball stepladder semifinals on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Mark Calado posted 22 points anchored off 20 attacks, while Jelord Talisayan and Zhydryx Saavedra tallied 12 points apiece. Benny Martinez had 21 excellent sets in the Tamaraws win.

Noel Kampton led the Green Spikers with 18 points and seven excellent digs, while JM Ronquillo had 17 points in the Taft-based squad's loss.

FEU will then face University of Santo Tomas in a knockout match in the next round of the stepladder on Sunday.
