Creamline closes elims on top at Choco Mucho's expense; Chery Tiggo outlasts PLDT in 5-setter

In front of a record crowd of 19,000, the Creamline Cool Smashers closed out their 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference elimination campaign on top of the standings at the expense of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 15-25, 25-20, 25-20, 28-26, on Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Tots Carlos made 25 points on 18 attacks, six blocks, and an ace, while Ced Domingo and Alyssa Valdez made 15 and 14 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Kat Tolentino made 24 points in the loss, which put Choco Mucho to 3-4.

Earlier, Chery Tiggo outlasted the PLDT High Speed Hitters in a five-setter, 25-20, 18-25, 22-25, 25-16, 18-16.

PVL action will return on Saturday with UAI-Army going against Petro Gazz Angels and Cignal HD Spikers facing the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.
