Chery Tiggo downs Choco Mucho to stay undefeated; F2 sweeps PLDT
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers took down the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 29-27, 18-25, 25-16, 25-20, to stay undefeated in four games in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference on Tuesday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Mylene Paat towed the Crossovers with 25 points anchored on 21 attacks and 2 each for blocks and aces, while EJ Laure had 15 points. Chery Tiggo import Jelena Cvijovic had 10 points, 8 excellent digs, and 21 excellent receptions.
Odina Aliyeva and Kat Tolentino were the only double-digit scorers for the Flying Titans with 21 and 15 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, who played sans Kalei Mau, swept the PLDT High Speed Hitters, 25-19, 25-22, 25-20.
Import Lindsay Stalzer had 19 points with 15 attacks, 2 blocks, and 2 aces, while Kianna Dy led the locals with 12 points. Dawn Macandili had 13 excellent digs, with Stalzer having 10, while Kim Fajardo listed 18 excellent sets.
Elena Samoilenko made 17 points in the PLDT loss.
While Chery remained on top of the standings with a 4-0 card, Choco Mucho went down to 2-2. F2 improved to 2-2, while PLDT listed their third loss in four games.
PVL action will return on Thursday with Akari going against the Creamline Cool Smashers, and Chery facing United Auctioneers.
