Creamline sweeps skidding Choco Mucho; PLDT routs Army

Creamline bounced back from a previous loss after sweeping sister team Choco Mucho, 25-22, 25-14, 25-22, on Saturday in the 2022 PVL Invitational Conference at the MOA Arena.

Tots Carlos flashed her MVP form after exploding for 25 points built on 23 attacks and two blocks while Jema Galanza logged 10 markers as the Cool Smashers improved to 3-1.

Team captain Alyssa Valdez made sure to make her presence felt on both ends after pouring nine points, 15 digs, and 12 excellent receptions.

Choco Mucho, who cruised to its third straight loss, got solid performance from lefty spiker Caitlin Viray who finished with 12 points in the defeat as the Flying Titas continued to miss some players.

Meanwhile, PLDT made it back-to-back wins after escaping Army Black Mamba in four sets, 17-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-18 to gain solo lead in the team standings.

Four PLDT players logged double digit scoring with Jules Samonte flaunting a 17-point output while Fiola Ceballos chimed in with 13.
