Philippine women’s volleyball team bows to Indonesia in bronze medal match

The Philippine women's volleyball team missed the podium anew in the Southeast Asian Games.
On Saturday, the national team fell to Indonesia, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, in the bronze medal match for women's volleyball in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The nationals had a chance to extend the match to a fifth set but the Indonesians came back in the fourth set after trailing 18-12 to take the win.
In total, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation only had two bronze medals, both from beach volleyball, in the biennial meet.
The national team also missed the podium in the 2019 edition of the SEA Games held in the Philippines. – RC, GMA News
