Beach spikers cop double bronze in Hanoi; men's volleyball team finishes fifth
The Philippine beach volleyball teams copped bronze medals in the 31st Southeast Asian Games on Friday in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Both the men's and women's team claimed bronze, repeating what they achieved in the 2019 edition of the biennial meet.
The men's team is composed of Jaron Requinton, Ranran Abdilla, Jude Garcia, and Krung Arbasto. Meanwhile, Sisi Rondina, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Bernadeth Pons, and Dij Rodriguez made up the women's team.

Earlier, the men's volleyball team finished their campaign in the SEA Games at the fifth spot after winning over Myanmar in a five-set thriller, 26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 27-29, 16-14.
The women's team will have a chance for the bronze medal when they battle Indonesia on Saturday.
