Choco Mucho welcomes Ponce, Ogunsanya ahead of PVL 2022 season
Two new noted names were added to Choco Mucho's arsenal with a little over a month left before the tentative February 16 opening of the 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.
After some hints yesterday, the Flying Titans on Friday finally made the development official, welcoming libero Thang Ponce and middle blocker Aduke Ogunsanya as two of their recent recruits.

Ponce will team up with veteran defensive specialist Denden Lazaro-Revilla while also reuniting with former Perlas teammates in setter Jem Ferrer and middle blocker Cherry Nunag, who joined the Rebisco-owned club last November.
Meanwhile, Ogunsanya is tipped to boost a tall Choco Mucho frontline that already features stars like Bea de Leon, Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino, and Shannen Palec.
It will be unfamiliar territory for the 5-foot-9 former La Salle tower, though, as she will play alongside Ateneo rivals in Ponggay Gaston, Jamie Lavitoria, Deanna Wong, Lazaro-Revilla, de Leon, Madayag, Ferrer, and Tolentino.
Choco Mucho wound up third in the eliminations round of the previous 2021 PVL Open Conference but ultimately bid goodbye to podium finish hopes after falling to Petro Gazz in their battle for third.
