Cignal signs Graze Bombita ahead of new PVL season

Cignal HD Spikers continued its talent haul in the team's bid to come out with a better performance come the next season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

The team on Thursday announced that they have signed Graze Bombita, who now becomes the fourth player the team brought into fold in the off-season following a three-player signing just a few days ago.

Cignal on Monday said it has inked deals with opposite hitter Angeli Araneta, setter Gel Cayuna, and libero Bia General as part of their rebuilding ahead of the season.

Bombita will be a crucial addition to Cignal, which finished dead last in the previous conference with a dismal 1-8 win-loss card.

Bombita previously saw action for the Balipure Water Defenders and was an important piece for the squad in the Open Conference.

One of her highlight performances went against eventual champion Chery Tiggo, which the Water Defenders upset in the elimination around.

During that match, Bombita paced her team with 24 points anchored on 21 attacks, two blocks, and an ace to steer Balipure to a 19-25, 25-19, 13-25, 27-25, 15-12 victory.
