F2 Logistics signs UP's Jessma Ramos, Rem Cailing after PVL Open withdrawal

F2 Logistics continued to stock up on talent despite pulling the plug on its participation in the inaugural professional season of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

The Cargo Movers on Tuesday announced that they have reached a deal with University of the Philippines product Jessma Ramos and Rem Cailing.

Ramos, who plays as a middle blocker, and Cailing, a setter, are tipped to be great additions to an already powerhouse roster of F2.

"Let’s all welcome Jessma Ramos and Rem Cailing to the F2 Family. We can’t wait to train and play with you," the team said in a tweet.

"We are sure you’ll grow and at the same time have fun with us."

The announcement came barely a week after F2 said it was not joining the Open Conference due to injuries and logistical issues that have prevented them from continuing with the bubble training.

PVL will formally open the season on July 17 at the PCV Socio-Civic Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte with only 10 teams competing.
