Sisi Rondina grateful to UST as she ends her collegiate career
It might have been not the ending she was hoping, but Season 81 women's volleyball MVP Sisi Rondina is beyond grateful that she represented UST in her whole stay in the UAAP.
"Worth it. Di ako nagsisi na tinapos ko lahat ng playing years ko sa UST," Rondina told reporters.
Rondina said wearing the colors of UST changed her life and she has no regrets of maximizing all of her playing years.
"Thankful because I wore in my jersey UST and malaking nabago sa buhay ko [dahil sa] UST kaya walang regrets kasi I learned a lot. I gained a lot of experience and sa lahat, thankful ako kasi I'm proud to be called a Thomasian," Rondina added.
The league MVP is also grateful for the support her team received from the UST community.
Rondina said, "Grateful, blessed, and thankful kami kasi we have that community na through ups and downs, 'yung tipong mapagkakatiwalaan na I'm here always sa inyong likod. Mami-miss ko 'yung ganung moments."
And her tip to those who will be left in España? "Sabi ko sa mga bata, Love UST the way I love UST."
Just as she loves UST, the community loves her too as shown in this video where she was welcomed by throngs of fans from their school.
