Joshua Pacio wins People's Champ poll in ONE 171

The blessings keep pouring in for the undisputed ONE strawweight world champion Joshua Pacio of Lions Nation MMA.

Following his second-round technical knockout victory over Jarred Brooks in the main event of ONE 171 last week in Qatar, Pacio was voted by fight fans as the People's Champ of the said event.

The poll, which took place on the ONE Championship website, had other notable candidates such as Jarred Brooks, Jonathan Haggerty, Bibiano Fernades, Robert Soldic, and many more.

"Thank you Jesus for all the blessings. Thank you to all the people who believed and supported me," said Pacio on his official Facebook page.

By winning the poll, Pacio will receive an additional $6,000 bonus on top of his guaranteed purse, win bonus, and the $50,000 performance bonus awarded to him by ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
